» Go USS Endeavour!! 2016 Awards

Posted on Sat Jan 14th, 2017 @ 10:37pm by Captain Alistar McKeon in General News

Good evening great crew of the Endeavour!

This past year has been a fantastic year for the Endeavour. We've had some ups and downs, as is expected of any sim, but overall you guys have done an outstanding job altogether. I'm proud to be your CO, and I want to thank you guys for not only joining the Endeavour in the first place but continueing to remain with the sim. You guys have done a great job in derailing mission plots, coming up with ideas I never thought of, and in general writing some awesome posts and having fun. As we look to the future in Theta Fleet's main line fleet, Task Force 23, I hope to see more of the greatness you guys have shown over the past two years.

That being said, I also would like to announce a few awards. In our final month as a member of Task Force 51, the Endeavour won the Silver Unit of Distinction award. In addition, our very own LT Jera'turak Ros tied for Writer of the Month and CMDR Isabella dei'Silvisi was named Player of the Month.

For the 2016 Fourth Quarter Awards, CAPT Alistar McKeon was named CO of the Quarter and CMDR Isabella dei'Silvisi was named both XO of the Quarter and Player of the Quarter for Task Force 51.

And finally, for the 2016 Annual Fleet Awards (these are end of the year fleet level awards), Endeavour was named Sim of the Year, CAPT Alistar McKeon was named CO of the Year, and CMDR Isabella dei'Silvisi was named XO of the Year for Task Force 51!

In addition, there are a few sim level awards that I'm proud to present to you guys as well.

CMDR Isabella dei'Silvisi: Captains Merit Award, awarded for continueing to be an outstanding XO and for her work not only in her outstanding writing but behind the scenes as well.

LT Jera'turak Ros, LTJG Kev Walker: Treknobabble Commendation, awarded for their constant use of technical terms in their writing and for making it not only sound realistic but easy enough for the rest of us to understand.

LT Akira Sato, LTJG Fe'cia Niatra, ENS Matt Connor: Ribbon of Excellence, awarded for outstanding performance both as writers and as members of the Endeavour sim.

To all of you guys, I want to say thank you for the outstanding job you've done so far. As we look to our future in Task Force 23, I invite you to join me in continueing to make the Endeavour the awesome sim she is.

Thank you all,

Captain Alistar McKeon

» Moving to Task Force 23

Posted on Sun Dec 11th, 2016 @ 1:51pm by Captain Alistar McKeon in General News

Greetings brave crew of the Endeavour,

as we near the completion of the current mission, yeah I know, it was brief, we've also come to the point where the Endeavour will be moving from Area 51 to Task Force 23. This means we'll be shifting to the main fleet timeline as well, which is set in 2393. Over the next couple of months, I'd like to ask everyone to update their character bios during the upcoming mission 'Transitions'.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask me.

Thanks

Captain Alistar McKeon

The day couldn't get any better or worse Alistar thought as he reclined in his chair in the ready room. Commander Silvisi's away team had been rescued, the Endeavour was in near working order, and they were en route to a nearby research station for a quick stop before heading…

Sickbay seemed crowded, but Isabella had to reflect upon the fact that she had never seen this many people in the medical section of the Endeavour before. Between her, her team, and the handful of medical staff, sickbay, which normally seemed quite roomy, seemed small and cramped. She had elected…

"Captain, long rang communications are detecting a weak communications signal," T'lon reported from operations. "It is very weak, but I believe it may be a Starfleet based signal."

Alistar frowned as he looked up from the PADD he had been reading. Communication signals weren't all that…

Alistar took the time to wait and let the turbo lift doors open completely before walking out onto the bridge. He still felt a little weak and sore, but otherwise he was good enough to at least sit on the bridge and start catching up on…

Alistar opened his eyes and instantly regretted it. The sickbay lights assaulted his eyes just as the smell of medical disinfect assaulted his nose. Groaning, he rubbed his eyes with a hand and sat up, vaguely aware of the fact that he wasn’t in his quarters, or dressed in his…
